Police have charged four people following a major drug operation in the State’s Pilbara region.
Karratha detectives have so far charged four men with serious offences following an operation targeting drug dealing in the west Pilbara.
The operation, which is ongoing, began in February and has so far resulted in seizures of methylamphetamine, cannabis and other drugs following several vehicle stops and search warrants.
On Monday detectives stopped a black Holden Commodore at a roadhouse on the North West Coastal Highway in Mardie.
It is alleged police found 84 grams of meth in the car, secreted behind panelling.
A 56-year-old man from Pegs Creek is facing a number of charges including possess a prohibited drug (methylamphetamine), three counts of possess a prohibited drug (cannabis) and three counts of supplied a prohibited drug.
He is next due in court on May 13.
A 42-year-old man from Bulgarra has been charged with two drug offences will face court again on May 17.
A 29-year-old Nickol man who has been charged with conspired to possess methylamphetamine with intent to sell or supply will reappear in court on April 29, while a 50-year-old from Bayton facing a prohibited drug charge with intent to sell charge will face court on May 27.
