A teenage driver was killed Thursday after his car crashed into a truck north-east of Perth.
Police say the crash happened on the Great Northern Highway near Bullsbrook about 8.10am when the vehicles collided near Morrissey Road.
The 17-year-old driver of a silver Mitsubishi Lancer, travelling south at the time, died at the scene.
A man aged in his 50s, who was behind the wheel of the Nissan truck travelling in the opposite direction, escaped with minor injuries.
The truck was left on its side blocking the major highway for several hours.
Firefighters were called to help clean-up the crash site.
Major crash investigators want to speak to anyone who saw the crash or has dash-cam footage from the area at around the time of the incident.
