Barcelona will turn their attention to Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah this summer if they fail to land Antoine Griezmann. It has been reported that Salah’s representatives have offered their client to the La Liga champions and now it seems Barca have to come up with how much they can tempt Liverpool into a sale. Salah would cost more than £100m, following a blistering season for the Reds. (AS)

Real Madrid and Barcelona are eyeing 17-year-old Brazilian starlet Rodrygo from Santos. Barca have been watching the player for quite some time and are prepared to pay €30m – but Real Madrid are prepared to quash that offer and pay up to €45m, and their plan would be to buy Rodrygo but send him back out on loan to Brazil. It is believed the player himself would be happy to do that, too. (AS)

Sevilla are contemplating a move for Newcastle United defender Florian Lejeune if Manchester United target Clement Lenglet leaves this summer. Lenglet, also linked with Barcelona, looks certain to leave this summer and Sevilla are preparing for life after the 22-year-old. Lejeune shares the same representatives as Lenglet, and they are keen on the Newcastle man, who only arrived in England last summer. (Mundo Deportivo)

The son of former Chelsea striker Eidur Gudjohnsen is a target for Barcelona. Andri Lucas Gudjohnsen has come through the ranks at Espanyol and scored 17 goals for the club’s youth team last season, while he is also an U16 international with Iceland. Barcelona are interested in a move, but Gudjohnsen is believed to favour a move to Real Madrid. (Sport)

Juventus midfielder Stefano Sturaro looks certain to remain with the Italian champions, according to his agent Carlo Volpi. The Newcastle United target has also been linked with a move to Spain, but it seems he will remain in Turin for now unless anything changes from Juve’s point of view. “Sturaro will remain at Juventus, 90 per cent,” said Volpi. “The transfer market is constantly evolving, and with the possible arrival of other players, that could make new arguments. But the club and the coach continue to testify to him on every occasion.” (Tuttosport)

Gonzalo Higuain has targeted a move to the Premier League but is in rush to leave Juventus. The 30-year-old Argentine is gearing up for the World Cup but has now emerged as a target for Chelsea. Higuain has told reporters: “I’m calm, I have a contract with Juventus and nobody told me anything about the future. For now I’m fine and I’m happy in Turin and I think my daughter will grow up in Turin, but one day I’d like to play in the Premier League where the matches are all spectacular.” (Corriere dello Sport)

Tottenham midfielder Mousa Dembele is a target for Inter Milan, but the Italian side face a struggle to land the Belgian through his agent, Kia Joorabchian. Inter believe they could land Dembele for around £16m, but Spurs want nearly double that amount. However, they may throw Joao Mario into a potential deal to push through a sale. Mario was on loan at West Ham last season. (Gazzetta dello Sport)

Borussia Dortmund’s Raphael Guerreiro is on Real Madrid’s radar summer, with the Champions League winners looking to bolster their left side of defence. Marcelo is still the number one choice at the Bernabeu but Madrid want better competition for the Brazilian. (Sport Bild)

Bayern Munich want to offer Renato Sanches a second chance to rebuild his career. The midfielder was on loan with Swansea City in the Premier League last season but failed to impress – he played just 16 times in all competitions. Benfica have offered to take Sanches back from Bayern, but the Bundesliga champions believe they can get him back to his best. (Kicker)

Former Guingamp, Le Havre and AS Nancy boss Francis Smerecki has died at the age of 68. Smerecki, who won the Ligue 1 Manager of the Year award in 1995, was suffering from a long-term illness. Bayer Leverkusen’s Wendell has emerged as a target for Paris Saint-Germain. The left-back is on new PSG boss Thomas Tuchel’s wanted list this summer, with reported Arsenal target Layvin Kurzawa likely to leave.
