Joe Root and Eoin Morgan hit half-centuries as England posted 351-9 despite a stuttering finish to the innings in the fifth ODI against Pakistan.
Root top-scored with 84 from 73 balls and Morgan smashed 76 from 64 balls as England looked on course for 400 only for Pakistan to hit back with a flurry of wickets, Shaheen Afridi taking 4-82.
However, England bat all the way down to No 11 and still managed to post the highest ODI total ever scored at Headingley.
Morgan’s side got off to a blistering start, reaching 100 just two balls into the 11th over as James Vince (33), Jonny Bairstow (32) and Root took advantage of some slack new-ball bowling from Pakistan.

Root and Morgan then added 117 for the third wicket but the captain fell to Shaheen and Root holed out a few overs later, triggering a mini-collapse.
The innings ended in style though as Tom Curran (29no from 15 balls) smashed Hassan Ali for a straight six before scooping the next ball for four to leave Pakistan needing their highest successful chase in ODIs to avoid losing the series 4-0.
