Editorial: World can not let-up on resistance to Vladimir Putin

The absolute brutality. Inhumanity. Horror.

Just when you thought Russian dictator Vladimir Putin’s brutality could not get any worse, it gets worse. So much worse.

The scenes now taking place in Ukraine are unforgettable and unforgivable.

Buildings reduced to rubble by continuous shelling by Russian artillery or missile attacks. Families, elderly, infirm, forced to take shelter underground for days and running low, or out of food, water or heating.

Women and children being killed in the street as they try to flee the invaders.

And then Putin’s killers bombed a maternity hospital in the besieged southern city of Mariupol which turned the area into an apocalyptic landscape of burning cars, splintered trees and rubble.
