Edgewater police locate suspects in Sloan’s Lake slaying – The Denver Post

Victim Andrew Jenicek grew up in Littleton and was living in Lakewood when he was fatally shot. Edgewater police are searching for a vehicle described as a silver or white sedan, possibly a Mitsubishi Eclipse.

The Edgewater Police Department announced Sunday afternoon it has located the Mitsubishi Eclipse and suspects sought in connection with the fatal shooting of a 27-year-old man near Sloan’s Lake.

Andrew Jenicek was fatally shot at 8:40 p.m. Thursday at 2001 Sheridan Blvd. after getting out of his car and walking to pick up a dinner order at a local restaurant, according to an Edgewater Police Department news release.

Police had been searching for occupants of a car described as a silver or white sedan, possibly a Mitsubishi Eclipse.
