A man and a woman have been charged over a spate of armed hold-ups across Perth’s southern suburbs on Sunday.
Police say the pair stole a Toyota Echo during a burglary at a home in Queens Park before stealing a bag in Wilson which contained the car and house keys for a home in Dianella. The couple allegedly trespassed at the Dianella home.
The duo then, armed and disguised, robbed three service stations in 40 minutes in Karawara, Willettonand Langford, according to police.
The Toyota Echo was found a short time later burnt out in bushland in Forrestfield.
A 26-year-old Thornlie man faces multiple charges including: two counts of stealing, two counts of armed robbery, one count of aggravated home burglary and one count of stealing a motor vehicle.
A 28-year-old Rivervale woman also faces a number of charges including two counts of armed robbery, aggravated home burglary, stealing a motor vehicle and criminal damage by fire.
They are both due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court on January 16.
