A fresh twist has emerged in the case of a Queensland man allegedly shot in the head, with a woman who police claim was “directly involved” with the incident now charged with murder.
Thor Morgan, 25, died in May from injuries sustained in an alleged shooting on Ruthven St in the Toowoomba suburb of Harlaxton in March this year.
Police allege he was shot while trying to evade a stolen white Ford Ranger dual cab about 2.50am on March 15.

On Thursday, police announced a 36-year-old woman had been charged with Mr Morgan’s murder.
She is also facing charges of unlawful possession of weapons and unlawfully using a motor vehicle.
It comes after police charged Lachlan Mark Freund, 24, with murder earlier this month.

Police allege the 36-year-old woman was “directly involved” with Mr Morgan’s alleged shooting.
She will appear before Toowoomba Magistrates Court later on Thursday.
Last month, police recovered a firearm, which is alleged to be the murder weapon, from the northern branch of the Condamine River.

Police believe there are other people in the community who have knowledge of the incident and have assisted those already charged with disposing of evidence.
Investigations are ongoing.
