Daisyanna Coates pays tribute to son Noah after tragic death in driveway accident

A young mother is in mourning after losing her eight-year-old son in a road incident near Ballarat, in regional Victoria.

Daisyanna Coates’ son Noah died after he was hit by a car while playing in a driveway at Delacombe on Saturday afternoon.

Ms Coates took to social media to express her grief, telling her son that she loved him.

“I can barely function at the moment,” she wrote.

“RIP my little boy Noah Jene. I love you so much.

“I don’t know what I’m going to do without you.”

Ms Coates’ father Randall paid tribute to the beloved little boy, calling the family’s loss “indescribable”.

“Please always remember to check around your vehicles in driveways when children are anywhere in the area,” he wrote.

Other family and friends also spoke about the lively boy’s impact.

Annette Harvey described Noah as a “little comedian” who will be “loved forever”.

“Noah was a special little man with such insight and a little comedian,” she said.

“I think he held a special spot in all our hearts.”

Matthew Mclean called the youngster “gorgeous soul” another friend said he was “just beautiful like his Mumma”.

The driver of the car remained at the scene on Saturday to assist police.
