A Coolbellup man is facing 15 charges ranging from burglary and robbery to stealing a motor vehicle and drug possession.
The charges were laid by Fremantle detectives after two people were arrested over an alleged crime spree.
Police allege the man allegedly assaulted the occupant of a Coogee home when he was confronted by the home’s occupant at about 6.30am on November 29.
The man then fled the Coogee property in a Subaru Forester that was allegedly stolen in a burglary at a home in Bibra Lake on November 28.
Police had sighted the stolen Subaru about 4.40pm on November 28 in South Lake and alleged the driver failed to stop.
However, police did not continue pursuing the vehicle due to the manner of the man’s driving.
Inquiries by Fremantle Detectives led them to a home in Coolbellup at about 6.30pm, where they recovered the stolen Subaru and a suitcase containing property allegedly stolen during several burglaries.
A 37-year-old woman from Coolbellup was charged with stealing a motor vehicle and she is next due to appear in the Fremantle Magistrates Court on January 4.
