Fremantle defender Connor Blakely could be targeted in the upcoming trade period, with rival clubs reportedly told he is open to leaving the Dockers.
Blakely is contracted for the next three seasons after signing an extension in July, but Victorian clubs have been told he is gettable, according to the Herald Sun.
Fremantle is yet to appoint a successor to Ross Lyon 24 days after he was sacked, and a CEO appointment has taken a back seat to the coach search.
Blakely, who played 14 games in 2019 after recovering from a serious hamstring injury, re-signed with Fremantle while Lyon was still in charge.
He has played 60 games in five seasons for Fremantle and was earmarked as an inside midfield replacement for Lachie Neale in 2019.
Before signing on in July, the 23-year-old said he wanted to remain at Fremantle and hoped Lyon would be there for the ride.
It has been confirmed that contracted midfielder Bradley Hill will attempt to make his way to St Kilda during the trade period.
