Commonwealth Games: Chelsea Hodges takes bronze in 100m breastroke remaining, which wrapped with a group hug

Australian Chelsea Hodges earned bronze in a dazzling women’s 100m breastroke final that finished with an all-in hug between competitors.

South Africa delivered a one-two punch, with Lara van Niekerk claiming gold in a time of 1.05.47 and Tatjana Schoenmaker silver (1.06.68).

Hodges rounded out the medals, with fellow Aussies Abbey Harkin and Jenna Strauch taking fifth and sixth respectively.

Following the race, all eight racers came together for a group hug in a sweet show of sportsmanship.
