That’s not a spud gun, this is a spud gun.
A supercharged homemade firearm has landed a WA man an appearance in court after police allegedly discovered the weapon during a search of his car.
Busselton Police posted a shot of the monster creation on Twitter.
The South West outfit tweeted: “Male arrested after a search of his car located a homemade firearm and meth pipe. Male has a “datewithamagistrate. #spudgunonsteroids.”
The weapon was marked as a “Bead Bazooka”, suggesting it may have been altered from a commercial tool used in the process of inflating tires to something different, unfavoured by police.
A spokesman for Busselton Police did not provide addition information on the spud gun, saying only that it was discovered by a team working overnight and the investigation was ongoing.
