Bunbury’s Isiah Winder played arguably his best game for the WAFL Eagles at the weekend in the side’s 62-point loss to East Fremantle.
The 20-year-old managed 26 disposals, five marks and two tackles to be named in West Coast’s best.
The game was among the best the Eaton Boomers product has played in 2022, with a two goal showing against Peel Thunder also being a highlight.
Winder is averaging just under 15 touches in the WAFL and has featured six times for West Coast’s AFL side this year, including a stretch of five consecutive games from round 8 to 12 — the most of his career — before being sent back to WAFL level.
Meanwhile, Bunbury product Michael Tassone continued to impress for the Sharks, with 22 disposals, three marks and four tackles against the Eagles.
Former Harvey-Brunswick-Leschenault gun Ty Anderson was impressive for Peel again, while Subiaco’s Harrison Marsh picked up 22 possessions as the Thunder beat the Lions by 26 points.
Claremont’s Bailey Rogers continues to get plenty of the ball and pose a threat going forward, with 29 touches and two goals to his name in the Tigers’ 29-point win over West Perth.
Meanwhile, former Harvey Bull Hamish Free was once again dominant in the ruck as South Fremantle beat Swan Districts by two points, despite Bunbury’s Aiden Clark being solid for the Swans in the midfield again.
