Building on history with new community

A new community is forming at Ferndale, with prices for the first stage of the Allure Estate live and the first sales release open to the public.

The development is the result of a collaboration between Link Residential Group, Yolk Property Group and the Department of Communities, and provides a rare opportunity to build a new home in a well-established suburb 14km from the Perth CBD.

Combining the benefits of a modern development with the advantages of a vibrant existing community, Allure promises to be an exciting new development for the area.

Situated on grounds that once homed the Kinlock Primary School, the Allure Estate will open a new chapter in the history of this special parcel of land.

Link Residential Group Capital Strategy & Land Acquisition Manager Simon Flesher said Allure Estate showed Link’s commitment to developing sustainable communities that put homeownership within the reach of even more Western Australians.

“With lot sizes from 245sqm to 375sqm, Allure will offer something for every budget and every life stage,” he said.

“As a modern development nestled within a well-established community, we expect to see strong interest from a wide range of prospective homebuyers.”

Yolk Property Group Director Tao Bourton said Allure would offer the environmentally sustainable features that were a hallmark of Yolk developments.

“We know buyers today are looking for sustainable living within developments, and with solar incentives for every house and land package, Allure Estate will provide exactly that,” he said.

Residents constructing homes in the estate are eligible to receive a rebate of $3000 to assist with the purchase and installation of a solar power system greater than 1.5 kilowatts.

Sustainably designed front landscaping is also included, giving buyers the choice from a variety of waterwise plants, trees and shrubs alongside a veggie garden and compost tumbler.

House and land packages in the estate start from $395,400, while plots of land start from $220,000.

The Canning River Regional Park, with its wetlands and rich native wildlife, is just a short walk from Allure Estate, while the popular Westfield Carousel Shopping Centre is a quick 3km drive.

The estate will feature newly landscaped parks for the whole community to enjoy which will include retained trees originally planted by the Kinlock Primary School, as well as new plants, turf and a nature play area.
