Brexit campaigner released on bail after incident with UK MP

A Brexit campaigner in the UK has been released on bail after being arrested over an incident with a Remain-supporting MP. James Goddard was pictured surrounded by supporters in a pub in Holborn, London, immediately after leaving a police station on Saturday. Metropolitan Police said the man, who has not been charged, had been released on bail until early February. Officers earlier confirmed the campaigner, who is in his 30s, was arrested on suspicion of public order offences that allegedly took place on Monday 7 January.
