Bork deal puts Wellfully across Russia

Perth-listed company Wellfully will have its science-based wellness products sold throughout Russia after partnering with a luxury retailer.

The deal with Moscow-based Bork is forecast to generate $2 million in sales for Wellfully, with an initial order of $700,000 placed for the company’s Réduit products.

Wellfully’s product line features IP-protected spa applicator devices, skinpods and hairpods, which are designed to improve results by improving the application process.

The technology the company developed uses magnetic fields to “influence the movement and penetration” through the skin of drugs, formulas and treatments at a molecular level.

Shares in Wellfully closed 7.5 per cent higher to 5.7¢.

Chief executive Paul Peros, pictured, said the partnership was a major step forward for the company’s expansion.

“Bork’s unique customer focus and progressive approach to retail will be vital in connecting our technology with high-end consumers in the market,” he said.

Wellfully expected the agreement would have its products in 140 stores in Bork’s network and tap more than 350,000 customers.

The devices will also be sold across Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine.
