Offering a distinct black swimming pool and built to a price point in line with single-storey homes on the market, The Tranquility display by Express Living is far from ordinary.
A spacious, open-plan affair offering plenty of living space and backyard for the family to enjoy, The Tranquility is an Express Living favourite which ticks plenty of boxes.
Offering a master suite and ensuite to the upper floor – and creating an ideal parents’ retreat in the process – while dedicating its lower level to living and a minor bedroom wing, the display at Clarkson is ideal for family living.
Express General Manager Piran Holloway – an English expat who played country cricket for more than a decade – told New Homes the display was something of a modern throwback, which allowed ample room for kids and parents to play outside.
“I’m fairly outdoor focused, and whilst I really believe there’s fun to be had on an iPad and watching TV, the ability to get outside and do things as a family and experience the Western Australian lifestyle was a high priority,” he said.
The Tranquility’s wide corridors also belie its price point, according to Mr Holloway.
“It’s got the wide corridors and space you’d normally associate with a $400,000 to $500,000 house, and that’s probably the big takeaway from the home,” he said.
As for the black pool, Mr Holloway said it was in Express Living’s nature to offer up displays markedly different from the rest on the market.
“With Express we always look for a twist,” he said.
“We’re trying to do something slightly different that focuses on peoples’ lives with each build – just by using new materials and styles.
“That’s part of the Express brand personality and something we have in our DNA.”
The Tranquility display is open Wednesdays from 2-5pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 1-5pm.
