Beacon exceeds full-year guidance at Jaurdi gold project

Another solid production quarter means Beacon Minerals has beaten its full-year guidance at the Jaurdi gold project north-west of Coolgardie.

The Kalgoorlie-Boulder-headquartered company told the ASX this week 7255 ounces of gold were produced in the June quarter, making for total 2021-22 production of 29,770oz.

The Graham McGarry-led miner said this was six per cent higher than the upper level of its full-year guidance of 28,000oz.

Beacon reported gold sales in the June quarter of 7483oz at an average price of $2628/oz for sales receipts of $19.67 million.

Total gold sales during the 2021-22 financial year were 28,435oz at an average price of $2526/oz for $71.82 million.

The company said it had bullion on hand/gold in transit of 1833oz as of June 30.

Beacon said 790,735 dry tonnes were processed during 2021-22, with the Jaurdi processing plant continuing to exceed the annual milling rate of 800,000dmt.

The company said its full-year guidance for 2022-23 was 24,000oz to 28,000oz.
