Barnsley have lodged a formal complaint to the English Football League (EFL) and Football Association (FA) in relation to the alleged incident between Fleetwood Town boss Joey Barton and Daniel Stendel.
Barnsley confirmed on Sunday that manager Stendel suffered facial injuries but is ‘OK’ after an alleged confrontation with Fleetwood counterpart Barton.
South Yorkshire Police are investigating an incident which took place after Saturday’s League One match at Oakwell, both clubs having been asked by the force to provide their observations and share any video footage filmed in the tunnel area.

“This is following an alleged incident at the conclusion of the match on Saturday 13th April between Joey Barton and Daniel Stendel.
