Australian Defence Force called after unexploded bomb discovered on Two Rocks farm

Australian Defence Force personnel were called in after an unexploded bomb was discovered on an industrial farm in Two Rocks this morning.

Military officers were contacted about 11.30am following a report to police of unexploded ordnance near Two Rocks Road.

The West Australian was told the live explosives could be remnants of war, with the weapons believed to be up to 80 years old.

The land they were located on is also a former Air Force and Army shooting ground.

The Police bomb squad was advised of the discovery but is not believed to have responded, with protocol calling for the ADF to attend.

Yanchep Police blocked off a section of Two Rocks Road near the farm while ADF personnel detonated up the device.
