Returning Fernando Alonso has led the way and Mick Schumacher was last in Formula One test drives in Abu Dhabi mainly designed for newcomers for the 2021 season.
Two days after the end of the 2020 campaign, former two-time world champion Alonso clocked 1 minute 36.333 seconds on the Yas Marina Course in a Renault.
The 39-year-old Spaniard was allowed to drive in the tests because he has been out of F1 for two years.
Formula Two champion Schumacher, 21, the son of joint record world champion Michael Schumacher, meanwhile had 125 laps for his new Haas team as one of the rookies in action.
His best lap of 1:39.947 was more than three and a half seconds off Alonso’s pace and the slowest of the 15 drivers in all.
