Paving the way for contemporary and luxurious retirement properties in Western Australia’s south, Toby’s Inlet Estate Dunsborough seeks to combine modern and traditional housing styles to suit every taste.
Located 2km from the town centre, opposite Dunsborough Lakes Golf Club and 500m from Geographe Bay, stage one of construction has just been completed at the pristine estate, with the first 34 out of 183 lots released.
Toby’s Inlet Estate Dunsborough Development Manager Stephen Genat said there was plenty more on the way.
“We have seven homes onsite with two more about to begin construction,” he said.
“The first stage of community facilities will commence in February next year – this will include a cafe, an art and craft studio, a library, an IT centre, a visitors’ lounge, administrative offices, a hair salon and a health practitioner consultancy room set amongst beautifully landscaped gardens and public areas for residents.”
Stage two of the centre will include a bowling green, an indoor swimming pool, a gym, a spa, change rooms and a residents’ workshop.
Stage three will boast a commercial kitchen, a restaurant, a cocktail lounge, private function rooms and an alfresco dining area, while stage four is set to include a recreation hall, a dance floor and a cinema and bar to establish Toby’s Inlet Estate as a serious entertainment hub for retirees.
“As we get older, looking after a large family home can be difficult,” Mr Genat said. “Our village provides the support and services to help people enjoy an independent and active lifestyle for longer.
“Residents will have the opportunity to actually know their neighbours again and can participate in as much or as little of the social life of the village as they like.”
Mr Genat said the village lifestyle would be complemented by close proximity to the lively Dunsborough town centre, with the estate perfect for those looking to downsize and live amongst a friendly and secure community.
“The village is a gated community with swipe card access for residents, CCTV in public areas and village entries, private home security and a personal 24/7 emergency call system included,” he said.
With stage one packages priced between $450,000 and $590,000, Mr Genat said homes in the village offered prospective residents the opportunity to sell their existing home, free up some capital, buy in the village and have some money left over to enjoy retirement.
“These are quality homes beautifully finished with timber floors, solar panels, ducted reverse-cycle air-conditioning and plantation shutters, as well as Caesarstone bench and vanity tops throughout,” he said.
There are several house designs to choose from and all contain a minimum seven-star energy rating, with solar panel systems included as standard.
The homes are open for inspection Wednesdays from 12-2pm and Saturdays from 11am-1pm or by appointment.
