Alaska’s North Slope rocked by record breaking earthquake

Alaska’s North Slope has been hit by the strongest earthquake ever recorded in the region. The magnitude 6.4 earthquake struck an area 551 kilometres northeast of the state’s second-largest city, Fairbanks.
