AFL Watch: Mitch Crowden, Darcy Tucker lead Peel Thunder to a win as Lloyd Meek continues good form

Peel Thunder kept their finals hopes alive with a win over Perth and the 13 players who turned out for them helped get the vital victory.

Eric Benning: Made his league debut as a defender where he put in a solid effort.

Mitch Crowden: Another stellar performance with 32 disposals and eight inside-50s.

Neil Erasmus: One of his best games of 2022 with 22 disposals, six tackles and a goal.

Ethan Hughes: Continues to thrive as a wingman and got forward to kick two goals.

Matthew Johnson: Laid seven big tackles, but was wayward in front of the sticks with three behinds.

Lloyd Meek: Had his hands full but was again good as he pushes for an AFL recall.

Nathan O’Driscoll: Worked hard and kicked a late goal on his way back from injury.

Sam Sturt: Another quiet game, with just the one behind for the day.

Josh Treacy: Didn’t hit the scoreboard and had just 12 touches and nine hit-outs.

Nathan Wilson: Used the ball with precision from defence in the wet conditions.

Karl Worner: Going to be hard to drop with 22 disposals on a wing.
