Samson residents called triple-0 alerting emergency services of the Hollis Street blaze late on Monday night.
The fire, which started about 9.30pm, destroyed most of the home, with the damage bill is estimated at $300,000.
Police today revealed a black and red Honda CRF250 off-road motorcycle was stolen from the property in addition to the alleged arson attack as well.
The circumstances surrounding the fire are unknown, but fortunately the residents of the home weren’t home at the time.
